Elizabeth's Sewing School offers several different types of sewing school programs.
Introduction to Sewing is for students who are just beginning or who are not yet comfortable with a sewing machine. All during & after school program students will start with this class their first year.
Once you are comfortable with your machine and can demonstrate basic machine sewing skills, you can select a program geared toward your interests.
Introduction to garment sewing, will introduce students to basic garment sewing, and increase your skills with new techniques such as zippers, buttons & buttonholes, and more with each garment.
Introduction to bag making is for students who want to create many different kinds of purses, bags and totes. Skills will be introduced with each project, pockets, zippers, and closures.
Introduction to quilting is for students who are interested in making quilts. Starting with small quilted projects and working our way up to larger projects.
Introduction to home decor is for students who want to learn how to make pillows and window coverings. Skills like measuring windows, making square pillow corners, and pillow coverings will be introduced.
Registration is ongoing and students may join programs at any time throughout the year.
